Job Description:
Project Management responsibilities
1. Ensure quality of deliverables
2. Ensure that all quality process is followed
3. Ensuring timely transfer of deliverables from our client to their Customer.
4. Resolve any people issues.
5. Enable smooth functioning between Onsite and Offshore teams
6. Seek clarifications from Carnival team when required by the off-shore team
7. Present status updates to the Project Manager of the Customer
8. Coordinate with various groups in the company
9. Form part of the Project Steering committee
10. Co-ordinate between the company's onsite team, off-shore team and the customer team
11. Interact with the users for change requests, if required
12. Ensuring timely transfer of deliverables from our client to their Customer.
Responsibilities as a Subject Matter Expert
1. Production monitoring & support
2. System test case preparation
3. System test plan preparation
4. Small development programming specification preparation
5. Requirement Analysis
6. Coordinate the changes with Offshore for development
7. Assist Offshore team for system testing
8. Assist the Users for User Acceptance testing, if required.
Reporting Structure:
Reporting to Service Delivery Manager
Experience:
At least 8 years experience
Data warehouse delivery experience - as Developer/ Lead / Architect/ Manager
Strong ETL and data base (Oracle/ DB2/ Teradata) skills
Experience in OLAP tools like Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion etc
At least 2 complete life cycle experience in BIDW projects of over 15 man years of which one is as Project Manager
Qualifications:
BE / B Tech / MCA/ MBA
Key Skills:
Should be an Architect in BIDW with Project Management experience
Job Location:
Our client is based in Atlanta but this role is at their client's site in Miami
Salary & Package:
This is a new role for our client and therefore the salary is negotiable at this stage
